Premier high school athletes coming to football recruiting combine and workshop

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Multiple high school football players from the region with FBS offers are coming to the Sanford Sports Complex Friday and Saturday for the Sanford POWER Riggs Premier Football Academy High School Football Combine.

More than 180 athletes will test with Sanford POWER trainers for college coaches from a five-state area Friday night at the Sanford Fieldhouse. The combine testing includes bench press, 40 yd. dash, pro agility, vertical jumps, position breakouts and one-on-ones. Coaches from DI-AA, DII, and NAIA schools in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and Nebraska will participate in the event.

On Saturday from 10 a.m. – noon at the Sanford Pentagon, the Sanford POWER Riggs Premier Football Academy will provide a special recruiting workshop for athletes who want to gain insight on the recruiting process. Athletes will receive information on academics, nutrition, and preparation for college recruiting from the football academy staff and special guests.
