SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The 30th South Dakota Football Coaches Association clinic will bring in several speakers for the annual expanded clinic experience.

The SDFBCA clinic presented by Sanford POWER-Riggs Premier Football Academy and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes is March 26-27, 2021, and takes place at the Sanford Sports Complex in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The two-day event is sponsored by Leading Edge Fundraising.

This year, the clinic welcomes Fresno State head football coach Kalen DeBoer. DeBoer, who won three national championships as a coach and one as a player at the University of Sioux Falls, is entering his second year as head coach of the Bulldogs after serving as the team’s offensive coordinator from 2017-18. He spent the 2019 season as the offensive coordinator for Indiana, where the Hoosiers ranked second in the Big Ten in yards per game.

“Kalen has coached at all levels of college football and has already put together a tremendous resume filled with success at every program he has been at,” said Kurtiss Riggs, director of the Sanford POWER-Riggs Premier Football Academy. “We’re excited to host this clinic at the Sanford Pentagon and work with the outstanding coaches at Augustana University.”

The clinic is open to football coaches in all states and will feature a series of breakout sessions, networking opportunities and high-profile speakers. There will also be a social event at Blue Rock Bar & Grill at the Sanford Sports Complex.

Attendees are invited to watch a session of the Augustana Vikings’ spring practice at the Sanford Fieldhouse on Friday afternoon.

“This event is always a highlight of the year, and we know these two days will be great experience for all the football coaches that attend,” said Kim Nelson, acting SDFBCA secretary. “Learning never stops for coaches, and this is a great opportunity to gather new ideas to implement in practices, meeting rooms and games.”

Registration information can be found at The cost is $50 per attendee that registers online.
