SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Premier college and high school golfers from the region will compete and showcase their skills at the fourth annual Sanford Golf Futures Tour.
The two-day competition takes place August 2-3 at Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort. This invitation-only event will be divided into boys and girls and college women and men. The 120 competitors consist of state champions from multiple states as well as golfers from 12 NCAA Division I and II schools, including South Dakota, South Dakota State, Creighton, Nebraska Omaha, Iowa State and Missouri.
Isabella McCauley, the 2-time high school girls champion, who qualified for 2021 U.S. Open, will be competing in this year’s event. A list of the complete field can be found at sanfordfuturestour.com/2021-field.
“The Sanford Golf Futures Tour provides a true championship tournament experience for golfers in the upper Midwest,” said Todd Kolb, director of sports academies. “Once again, the field is full of outstanding players competing on a challenging course, and we could not be more excited about this year's event.”
Former LPGA golfer and current Sanford POWER Golf Academy coach, Cindy Rarick, will be in attendance during the tournament.
