SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – LPGA golfers Kim Kaufman and Amy Olson will participate in a free youth clinic hosted by the Sanford POWER Golf Academy from 9-11 a.m. on Dec. 16, at the Sanford Fieldhouse. The event is for ages 8-18.
The clinic will be broken into a series of stations, each focusing on a different skill. Equipment will be provided by Austad’s Golf.
Kaufman, a native of Clark, South Dakota, recently completed her fourth full season on the LPGA Tour. She has nine top-10 finishes on her professional resume. Kaufman was a two-time All-American at Texas Tech.
Olson grew up in Oxbox, North Dakota, and set the NCAA Division I record for career victories (20) while at North Dakota State. She made her LPGA Tour debut in 2014 and has two career top-10 finishes.
PGA Teaching Professional Todd Kolb will host the event. Kolb was named best golf teacher in South Dakota in 2017-18 by Golf Digest.
Symetra Tour professional Emma Jandel will also be involved with the clinic.
